There are many different types of shoes, and each one looks unique. For many cosplays, you need footwear that can’t be easily bought – or that’s simply too expensive. But don’t worry: you can make them yourself!
In this workshop, I’ll show you how to create your own boot covers using three different patterns. You’ll learn what to pay attention to, which materials work best, and how different fabrics and foams behave when being worked with.
The patterns can also be used with foam (see the third example image). I’ll also bring along some of my own boot cover samples to demonstrate each step and show how versatile these methods can be.
