AMV-Contest 2025 presented by AnimeRadio.de

Our Manami invites you to the grand AMV Contest in Kassel, right in the heart of Germany. In collaboration with AnimeRadio.de, we are searching for the best Anime Music Videos for the Anime Festival Kassel 2025, taking place from October 4th to 6th. On Saturday evening, we will showcase videos full of action, romance, and drama in the grand ballroom of the Kongress Palais. In addition to fame and glory, participants can look forward to prize money totaling 600 Euros!

Prizes:

Participation Rules:

• Participation is open worldwide. Attending the Anime Festival Kassel is not required. All participants will receive free entry to the Anime Festival Kassel on Saturday. Please email us if you plan to attend in person.
• Submission deadline: November 28, 2025 – [ AMV Registration Form ]
• Exclusive Contest:
  AMVs submitted for the exclusive contest must not be made publicly available before the event. Uploading your AMV to YouTube or other platforms prior to the festival is not allowed. We’d appreciate it if our logo is shown at the beginning or end of your video. You may submit multiple videos for the exclusive contest.
• Open Contest:
  AMVs submitted for the open contest may already be public and may have participated in other contests. Only one video submission is allowed!
• For both the open and exclusive contests, you must provide proof that you are the creator of the submitted video. For example, a screenshot of your editing timeline is acceptable proof.
• The submitted videos must feature themes from Japanese anime, video games, or cosplay. Videos that glorify violence or contain explicit adult content may be disqualified at the organizer’s discretion.
• Videos must be of high visual and audio quality and no longer than seven minutes. Please ensure your video can be played with the standard VLC Player.
• You may submit your videos via Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or similar services. Please test your sharing link in a private browser window to ensure access works correctly. Do not use services like WeTransfer or any platform that automatically deletes files.
• By participating in either the exclusive or open contest, you grant us the right to use your videos at our events.

Judging:

• The judging will be conducted by a panel from the Anime Messe Babelsberg team, who will make an initial selection for public viewing.
• During the event, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite video.
• The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the Anime Festival Kassel on Sunday.
• Prize money will be transferred to the winners within two months after Anime Festival Kassel 2025. Please note that we only offer payments via PayPal, IBAN, or SWIFT (subject to fees). If you cannot receive money this way, we will try to provide an equivalent prize instead.
