Anime Festival Kassel – Press & Creator Policy

We are delighted to work with press representatives and content creators to make Anime Festival Kassel even more visible!

Journalists

With official press ID: Journalists with a valid press card can accredit themselves on site at any time at the day ticket counter.
Without press ID: Accreditation is only possible through prior online registration.

Content Creators & Community Press

Content creators and community press representatives are important partners of our work. We are happy to invite them based on the following criteria:

Requirements

Relevance: Content with a clear focus on anime, manga, cosplay, or Japanese pop culture.
Reach & Activity:
- TikTok: min. 2,000 followers or 10,000 total likes
- Instagram: min. 2,000 followers
- YouTube: min. 1,000 subscribers or avg. 500 views per video
- Twitch: min. 500 followers and at least 2 streams per month
Content quality: Independently created, regular content. Private profiles or mainly personal everyday/friend accounts are not considered.

Obligations

Before the festival: At least 1 post (post/reel/video/stream) linking @AnimeKassel or the website
During the festival: At least 1 story, reel or clip with the official hashtag #AnimeKassel (depending on platform)
After the festival: A short recap (e.g. photo, video or story).

Proof

Posts must be publicly visible.
Proof should be sent voluntarily via email to info@AnimeFestival.de.
Failure to comply may lead to exclusion from future accreditations for events of Anime Kultur e.V.

Note

The selection and allocation of creator tickets is carried out by the festival team in accordance with this policy. Even if the requirements are met, there is no entitlement to accreditation.

Please specify the total number of people actively involved in content creation (e.g. camera, moderation, photography, editing, social live posting). Accompanying persons are not permitted. In case of implausible information, we reserve the right to refuse additional tickets.

Please list all names and their role on site

Please list all names and their role on site (e.g. Max Müller – camera, Anna Schmidt – moderation). The information must match the previously stated number of participants. For creators whose real name should not be disclosed, you may use the official alias under which they appear publicly online.

If you have an official press ID card, please upload it here. Uploading the press ID usually allows us to accredit you directly. A copy of the ID of the main responsible person on site is sufficient. Allowed file formats: jpg | png | pdf
