Blue Miburo Season 2 - International Premiere

The adventure continues! Be part of the festive international premiere of Blue Miburo Season 2 up close! We welcome our friends from Studio ＭＡＨＯ ＦＩＬＭ. Especially for the premiere, composer Yuki Hayashi and associate producer Nozomi Shimakura are traveling all the way from Japan. They will experience the premiere together with us and will afterwards discuss the creation of the new season. But that's not all: On Friday, a deep dive into anime production with Nozomi Shimakura awaits you, while on Sunday, Yuki Hayashi will discuss the creation of the goosebump-inducing soundtrack for Blue Miburo with us.

The wait is over! One year after we followed the beginning of Nio's journey together, the world of the Miburo returns to Kassel. We are incredibly proud to celebrate the International Premiere of the second season of Blue Miburo on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:20 PM in the Festsaal. Experience exclusively how the dramatic events in Kyoto at the end of the Edo period unfold and what new challenges await Nio and the legendary warriors of the Shinsengumi.

This special event will be accompanied by two outstanding guests from Studio ＭＡＨＯ ＦＩＬＭ: the masterly composer Yuki Hayashi, responsible for the series' epic soundtrack, and the dedicated associate producer Nozomi Shimakura. Immediately following the premiere, they will discuss their work on the new season in a Q&A panel on stage. Afterwards, you can get autographs from our guests at the signing session.
